It's not surprising that Ghalib omitted this little-nothing verse from his published divan . But it is surprising that he included it in Gul-e ra'na . Obviously he didn't consider it quite as minimal as it looks to the naked eye. Could he have found in it a kind of 'expressive' quality? Perhaps this is one for the tiny little 'natural poetry' set among his ghazal verses. For more on such rare personally expressive verses, see 66,1 .
